Editing Photoshop Templates

Before opening the PSD files make sure to download the fonts linked in the documentation.

This is the first thing you should see when you open a template. Click on the arrow shown on the layers panel to expand the “Text” folder to see all the text separately.

Click on the text you want to change on the layers panel on the right. In this case we’re changing the text Cindy Scholar. Then click on the text tool on the toolbar on the left. You can now click on the text on the invitation to delete the existing text to change it to the name you want.

Click on move tool shown on the top left after you’re done editing, this tool allows you to select layers and move them around. If you have Auto select enabled you can select the text by clicking on in on the invitation. When a text layer is selected you can edit the properties of the text such as size, font, spacing via the character panel shown on the top right. If you don’t see this panel you can enable it by clicking on “Window” on the top toolbar and selecting Character. Once the template is edited to your liking go to File > Save a Copy and save it as a PDF for printing.
